I’m Chris McCrea, the Creative Director of Marketing for the Cory Mayo Team at Compass Real Estate. Born and raised in Delaware, I have a deep appreciation for everything this area has to offer—from its charming coastal towns to its thriving real estate market. My background in marketing and media production has allowed me to combine creativity with strategy, helping our team showcase homes in a way that truly stands out.

My Story
Born in New Castle and raised in Wilmington, Delaware has always been home. From its rich history to the stunning coastal communities, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for everything the First State offers. Today, I’m proud to work at the Delaware beaches, where I help clients discover the best places to call home.
My journey into real estate was driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for creativity. With a background in marketing and media promotion, I specialize in helping buyers relocate to Delaware and guiding them through the process of building their perfect home. My focus on new construction homes—especially with renowned builders like Schell Brothers, D.R. Horton, and K. Hovnanian—allows me to match clients with communities that truly fit their lifestyle.
Outside of real estate, I’m a car enthusiast who loves attending car events and exploring scenic drives. Cooking is another passion of mine—I enjoy creating meals that bring friends and family together. I also recharge by immersing myself in nature, hiking trails, and kayaking along Delaware’s beautiful waterways.
Recently, I’ve developed a passion for photography and videography, using these skills to showcase local communities, homes, and the unique stories behind them. My creative work extends to hosting a new construction podcast, where I sit down for exclusive interviews with top sales teams from leading builders in the area.
